Crow is an American Indian totem animal, the keeper of Sacred Law, protector of the ancient records.  Crow Medicine is honoring the self, your boundaries and limitations.  Crow's message is clear:  what you think today creates your future, so honor the present in love, forgiveness and gratitude.  Create the future with anticipation of receiving the gifts the Universe bestows when you Ask.  Crow looks with one eye, then the other, to observe everything from all sides.  Stay out of denial, stay in Integrity, speak your Truth.  Crow is a sign of change, he sits at the left hand of the Creator, and is a master at shape shifting.  Crow sends the message you can change your past, your present, and mould your future.

There is a resident flock of crows that gather in the redwood tree at the back of my yard and talk to me.  There is also a local Raven, I named Rocky, that speaks to me directly in a lower gutteral tone.  Raven, as part of the Crow family, is a sign of Magic, awakenings and long distance healings.  Raven assists in healing the consciousness which then allows a healing of the body to occur.  If you are ailing, heal your consciousness first, then the body will follow.  They also appear as a sign when you come to a crossroad, ready to make a life change.  I find these visitations a gift and a sign from the Universe to remind me to stand in my truth and walk my talk.
