Postnatal Therapies
Most of our current societal emphasis is placed on the prenatal period, but we tend to deny the fundamental needs of mothers in the postpartum period. The changes
taking place in your body at this time, as well as the increased demands of caring for a new little one can be significantly more challenging than the prenatal period.
With our pregnant bellies no longer showing, people may no longer take the extra care they might have shown us during pregnancy. With baby in plain view, people may celebrate the new child but are unaware of the needs of the mother. It is critical we care for ourselves during this time.
Postpartum therapies are tailored in the same way as the prenatal therapies but emphasis is shifted to the new needs of the postnatal emotional, hormonal and body changes taking place.
Mothers can receive bodywork within the first day of delivery and will find their bodies going through significant changes for the first year (if not more) beyond the
birth of the child.
Therapies are available in your home or in the office. Energy work sessions available by phone or email. Contact Crow Medicine (208) 301-1804.
